In May 2019 Key Risk Training Solutions was commissioned to deliver an ethics and compliance training course in Jakarta to the Indonesian based employees of a major U.S chemical company. As a component of its compliance programme the client requires all key staff within its world-wide production facilities to undergo annual training to ensure they are familiar with the company’s ethics and compliance policies, particularly those relating to anti-bribery provisions. The training was custom built for the client who was keen to ensure its employees were hands-on involved in the various training sessions As a result of this requirement key Risk trainers custom produced a number of realistic scenarios that were then subject to small group role play exercises and feedback. Additionally, the trainers utilized actual case examples from bribery and corruption cases that have occurred within Indonesia over the past several years – thereby giving the students plenty of “live” examples of the issues they could encounter when conducting their day-to-day duties for their employer.
